Voix d'Europe and EU Neighbours East are delighted to invite you to an engaging discussion on the abolition of the death penalty and human rights, with a special focus on the current situation in Belarus, on the eve of the presidential elections.

This event will bring together experts and activists dedicated to addressing these critical issues.

Our Speakers :
Sébastien Potaufeu – Senior Adviser for Human Rights and Coordinator for the Abolition of the Death Penalty at the Council of Europe.
He will explain the Council of Europe’s role and the steps taken towards a death-penalty-free Europe.

Artemij Vashkevich & Alina Kharysava – Two Belarusian activitsts and Young European Ambassadors for EU Neighbours East with firsthand experience and expertise. They will share insights on the human rights situation in Belarus and their ongoing fight for justice and abolition.
