Arriving at Sciences Po Strasbourg

You have just been accepted to study at Sciences Po Strasbourg? Congratulations! Now, you just need to enrol following the relevant process.

You have been accepted on Parcoursup

Successful Parcoursup applicants should enrol for the First Year of the Sciences Po Strasbourg Diploma 2022/2023 in two stages:

1. Enrol at the University of Strasbourg

First you must enrol at the University of Strasbourg. This first stage is done entirely online from 5 July 2022 following the instructions at the following link:

This stage must be completed in the time frame specified below:

- No later than 12:00 (CET) on 20 July 2022 for candidates who have confirmed acceptance of a place between 2 June and 11 July 2022 inclusive;
- No later than 12:00 (CET) on 26 August 2022 for candidates who have confirmed acceptance of a place between 12 July 2022 and 21 August 2022 inclusive.
 

2. Complete your enrolment at Sciences Po Strasbourg

Once you have completed the first stage, the Admissions and Enrolment Office of Sciences Po Strasbourg will contact you by post.

They will send you a list of the documents required to calculate your enrolment fees for Sciences Po Strasbourg. These documents must be returned by 15 August 2022.

You will receive notification of your enrolment fee at the end of August. Your enrolment will be finalised in September.

You are admitted on the basis of your qualifications

You will be contacted directly by the Admissions and Enrolment Office.

You have passed the Fourth Year entrance exam

You have passed the fourth year entrance exam and will be entering Sciences Po Strasbourg in the autumn? Congratulations! All that remains is for you to proceed with your administrative registration.

All the registration procedures have been sent to you by post to the address indicated on your eCandidat account. You will find a notice with the details of the documents you need to provide to enable us to calculate your registration fees at Sciences Po Strasbourg. The documents must be returned before 15 August 2022.

Notification of your registration fee will be sent to you at the end of August. Your registration will be finalised in September.

You have been admitted to a Licence professionnelle or a Master’s course

These enrolment processes only apply to external candidates who are not enrolled in the Sciences Po Strasbourg Diploma.

Scenario 1: you have never previously been enrolled at the University of Strasbourg (primo-entrant):

Enrol online at http://iaprimo-accueil.unistra.fr. You will receive your enrolment log-in ID automatically by email.

Indicative list of documents to scan and upload when enrolling online:

  • Recent passport photo;
  • Front and back of a current passport or identity card;
  • Your CVEC (Student Life and Campus Contribution) certificate2022/2023, which can be downloaded from http://cvec.etudiant.gouv.fr/ (The purpose of the CVEC is to improve student services, specifically in the areas of social life, health, culture, and athletics. Students in receipt of financial aid are exempt from the CVEC. However, they are still required provide the certificate to enrol for any course);
  • Most recent qualification or certificate of achievement, demonstrating that you have earned at least 240 ECTS;
  • Copy of your certificate of attendance at a JAPD (National Defence Preparation Day ), JCD (Defence and Citizenship Day), or any document from the National Service Department certifying that your national service is in order;
  • If you are exempt from enrolment fees, your Notification of Entitlement Letter 2022/2023.

 

Scenario 2: you have previously been enrolled at the University of Strasbourg:

Enrol online at http://iareins-accueil.unistra.fr. Enter your UNISTRA student ID and your date of birth.

 

Indicative list of documents to scan and upload when enrolling online:

- Your CVEC (Student Life and Campus Contribution) certificate2022/2023, which can be downloaded from http://cvec.etudiant.gouv.fr/ (The purpose of the CVEC is to improve student services, specifically in the areas of social life, health, culture, and athletics. Students in receipt of financial aid are exempt from the CVEC. However, they are still required to provide the certificate to enrol for any course);
- Most recent qualification or certificate of achievement, demonstrating that you have earned at least 240 ECTS;
- If you are exempt from enrolment fees, your Notification of Entitlement Letter 2022/2023.

Once your enrolment is complete, you can download your certificat de scolarité and registration fee receipt from your ERNEST account, under “My Studies > Enrolment > Certificates and Enrolment Documents”.

Stickers for the 2022/2023 academic year will be available from Sciences Po Strasbourg’s main reception (Accueil Général) on the third floor of the Cardo Building, Office 333 (open Monday to Friday, 09:30 - 16:30). You must show your Pass Campus card and certificat de scolarité 2022/2023.
